From Alpha Health Support to Simplicity Biome: A Family's Commitment to Natural Wellness
At the heart of Simplicity Biome, there’s a story of legacy, family, and a passion for wellness that transcends generations. We are proud to be a women-led team comprised of mothers and daughters—Aspen (daughter), Melanie (mother), and Cassidy (mother)—who have come together to guide this brand into its next exciting chapter. Together, we carry forward a torch that was lit by a true pioneer in the health and wellness space.
The journey began with Tony Farmer, the inspiring, youthful owner of Alpha Health Support (AHS). At the age of 84, Tony's vitality and energy were living proof of the benefits his products offered, especially his renowned 90 essential nutrients. Aspen and Melanie had been loyal consumers of these nutrients for over four years, and through this time, they built a special relationship with Tony. Melanie, ever curious, would often ask about the future of AHS, wondering what would happen when Tony eventually stepped back.
In January 2021, the seeds of Simplicity Biome were planted, with a mission rooted in honoring the simplicity of nature. The idea was to create products that nurture the skin's microbiome and contribute to the wellness of the Earth’s macro-biome. With that vision, Simplicity LLC was registered, with a promise of transparency—delivering pure, essential products free from unnecessary additives.
Then in May 2022, an incredible opportunity arose. Tony, who had been seeking someone to take over Alpha Health Support, reached out to Melanie and Aspen. He trusted them to continue serving the dedicated community of AHS customers. Aspen embraced the challenge wholeheartedly, and thus began their deep dive into the world of entrepreneurship, taking over Alpha Health Support and starting the next phase of their wellness journey.
Initially, this new chapter was named Merkaba Wellness, a term symbolizing Light, Spirit, and Body. The name carried deep meanings and connected the brand's mission with ancient wisdom. Merkaba Minerals came to symbolize more than just health supplements—they represented a movement towards health, vitality, and harmony with Mother Nature’s healing powers.
However, as time passed, Aspen recognized the need for a new direction and clearer branding. After months of reflection, Simplicity Biome was born—a name and vision that truly reflect the brand’s commitment to nature’s simplicity and the harmony between Earth’s ecosystems and our own body’s microbiome. The journey from Merkaba Wellness to Simplicity Biome was not just about rebranding but also about returning to the core of who we are and what we stand for.
